Grand Jury issues new round of indictments

OSSIPEE — The Carroll County Grand Jury convened July 20 and handed up the following indictments. An indictment is not an indication of guilt but rather means that the grand jury has found sufficient evidence has been presented to warrant the case moving forward.

Robert Amaral, 43, of Tamworth is charged with two counts of identity fraud alleging that on April 15 in Conway he applied for two credit cards using another man's identity. Amaral is also charged with assaulting a police officer for allegedly hitting Tamworth Police Chief Dana Littlefield with a metal swing when Littlefield announced himself as a police officer July 13 in Tamworth.

David Bernier, 52, of Wolfeboro is charged with driving after having been declared a habitual offender in Wolfeboro July 6.

Michael Boyle, Jr., 37, of Conway is charged with theft by deception and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing and then selling two rings in Conway Jan. 5.

Dana Collins, 36, of Ossipee is charged with four counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm in Ossipee Nov. 20, 2017.

Courtney Curry, 38, of Fryeburg, Maine is charged with possession and sale of a controlled drug in Conway March 16.

Francis Dimarzio, 23, of Tamworth is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled drug in Sandwich April 11.

Alexander Franke, 57, of Conway is charged with two counts of second degree assault (strangulation) in Conway June 6.

Stephanie Froman, 53, of Conway is charged with selling a controlled drug in Conway April 12.

Robert Gagnon, 41, of Tamworth is charged with possession of a controlled drug in Ossipee May 15.

William Grinley, 50, of Merrimack is charged with one count of felonious sexual assault of a minor in Moultonborough between the dates of June 30, 2016 and Sept. 1, 2017.

Donald Harte, Jr., 46, of Tamworth is charged with second degree assault in Tamworth April 23.

Katelyn Lake, 23, of Conway is charged with sale of a controlled drug March 9 in Albany.

Jessica McBride, 44, of Conway is charged with sale of a controlled drug in Conway May 31.

Natasha Meroski, 37, of Ossipee is charged with assaulting an inmate at Carroll County House of Corrections April 19 in Ossipee.

Donald Moore, Jr., 34, with a mailing address in North Conway, is charged with possession of a controlled drug in Conway Feb. 15.

Priscilla Protasowiski, 32, of Jackson is charged with two counts of simple assault for allegedly shoving two people in Jackson April 20. The two misdemeanor counts carry with them enhanced penalty, alleging that Protasowiski's actions were motivated by "hostility towards the victim's religion, race, creed or national origin."

Craig Redding, 23, of Fryeburg, Maine is charged with theft of two rings in Conway Jan. 5.

Sophita Riebau, 19, of Wolfeboro is charged with falsifying physical evidence in Ossipee Nov. 20, 2017.

Greggory Seymour, 36, of Lovell, Maine is charged with theft and three counts of receiving stolen property Feb. 6, 2014 in Conway. The indictments allege that Seymour stole about $80,000 from Glen Builders.

Richard Solis, 48, of Diamond Bar, California is charged with second degree assault May 3 in Conway.

Heather Start, 34, of Moultonborough is charged with possession of a controlled drug in Moultonborough March 4.

Norman Stelbergs, Jr., 33, of Albany is charged with criminal threatening and reckless conduct for allegedly throwing a rototiller at a man in Conway June 12.

Justin Stripp, 37, of Ossipee is charged with three counts of selling a controlled drug in Ossipee March 29.

John Thurston, 48, of Brownfield, Maine is charged with possession of a controlled drug in Ossipee Nov. 20, 2017.

Valerie White, 50, of Ossipee is charged with theft of money in excess of $1,500 between June 2 and July 6, 2017 in Effingham.
